But, please keep in mind that an electronic factory is not the same as electronics factory. They normally don't say "rested." Instead, "took a break" would be better.
Especially, in this case they would say take a maternity leave. If you allow me, just one more comment: When you translate, do not stick to word to word translation; use simple and easy words; just try to say as they (American or English) say. Now they woul say:
I worked for an electronics factory for three years and then, took a maternity leave for several months. (Sorry, I don't exactly understand the Chinese writing, I just guessed based on your translation)
